I am so excited to be back at BLS today! Thanks for your prayers while I was ill and thanks to Mrs. Courtney for subbing for me. The students were in good hands. :)
Once again, everybody knew their memory assignment--many said both verses. We enjoyed our 10-minute reward this morning and look forward to many more 100% weeks. In Literature, we explored the idea of theme versus plot. The students are reading a selection from Beowulf and will be determining just what the theme of the story might be. Perhaps your sixth-grader will share some of the story with you.
Hopefully, I'll be able to print out the gradelink information for all of you tonight. My goal is to send it home with your student tomorrow. Also, the PE shirt order will be going in tomorrow morning--just FYI. Again, thanks for your prayers! Stay well. :)
