Are you ready for Fall Fest? The 6th graders are excited and full of enthusiasm for tomorrow! Even if you aren't running (or walking) in one of the races, please join us at Howard Amon park for a fun time--and please pray for dry weather. :) And, don't forget about the delicious spaghetti supper tonight at school from 5:30 to 7:00 PM.
This morning we enjoyed reading with our 1st grade buddies in the east wing. Then we learned about pirate ships in general, including some interesting names. Also, we began work on our chapter 11-12 questions which are due on Tuesday.
Midterm progress reports went home with your students today. Please call or email me if you have questions on any of your child's grades. Also, you can go online and check gradelink to see what, if any, assignments may be missing. At this point in the trimester, one or two "lost" assignments can have a major impact on the subject grade. That impact will lessen as we add more work to the grade sheet.
Finally, please mark your calendars that we won't have school on October 24-26 as all the teachers will be at the Pacific Northwest Teachers' Conference in Oregon. :) We'd love to have your prayers for traveling safety.
