Today was the National Day of Prayer, so the 6th Graders spent about 10 minutes in the Worship Area praying for themselves, their families, our school, our nation and our leaders. The kids made good behavior choices while they were in the Worship Area, too.
We were all so happy to enjoy the gorgeous weather today. Spring has finally arrived!
Our new gym is nearing completion, so start thinking about dedicated gym shoes for PE. The shoes do not have to be new, but the soles should be scrubbed clean and saved only for use in the gym. Also, no black soles please. We want to take excellent care of our new floor. It is going to be such a joy to have a floor that isn't concrete!
Indoor Olympics is still scheduled for Friday, May 24. It will be an early release day and we hope you can come and join in the fun. More to follow on teams, colors, etc. :)
