Hot lunch order forms went home today and are due back by next Wednesday at the latest.  Also, a reminder about performance attire for the Christmas program went home as well.  The students will wear white turtleneck shirts and khaki pants for both performances.

With regard to the Christmas service, students are expected to participate in both the 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM performances unless the child's parent has arranged with the teacher for an excused absence.  We realize that sometimes it is not possible to be at both services, but unexcused absences will result in loss of Christian Studies points.  I thought I should clarify this since I had several students who seemed surprised that they would be expected to attend the both services.  :)

The 6th graders voted by an overwhelming margin to have a Secret Santa Gift Exchange at our Christmas party on 12/20 (it's an early release day, too).  We have a spending limit of about $7:00 for gifts.  If this works a hardship for you, please contact me--there are some arrangements I can probably make.
