WOW!  I just have to let you know how helpful the class has been today.  I came down with a very sore throat part way through the day and really couldn't talk at my usual volume.  All three middle school grades made an intentional effort to work quietly!  My 6th graders did an especially awesome job.  :)  Anyway, I just wanted you to know how much of a blessing they were.

Monday is our final 6th grade MSP test.  Sufficient sleep and nutrition are important and help our students do their best on their state tests.

Math 1:  P 390 #1-19 odds RTGO
Math 2:  See Mr. Haynes blog.
Literature:  Fished up revising the defense questions
Writing:  Final draft and one earlier draft due Tuesday.  Must be double spaced.
Spanish:  Continued creating dictionary pages.  Students wrote down words and
               photographed the list so they can work at home.
Social Studies:  See Mrs. Wolters' blog.
Christian Studies: All  remaining memory work is due be 5/30.
Grammar:  Spelling test and study hall
6th Science:  Project work day (only 2 more to go!)
7th Science:  Project work day (only 2 more to go!)
8th Science:  Decompressing from MSP test.
Research Skills:  Presentations begin Wednesday, 5/21

Ongoing Projects:  6th and 7th science investigation/engineering design
                             report due 5/20 at end of class; PowerPoint presentation due 5/27
