This was our last regular school day of the 2013-2014 school year!  Along with the usual activities of turning in books, cleaning out lockers, handing in iPads, recording 6th grade class memories, etc., we presented the "Trial of TJ Avery" to the 5th graders.  The 6th grade students wrote a mock trial script in response to one of our class novels.  The 5th grade was our jury and poor TJ Avery was found guilty!  Then the 6th and 7th grade students walked up to McDonald's and Burger King for lunch.  The kiddos were tons of fun.  :)  It has been a joy to work with your students this year and I wish you all a delightful break this summer.
