Today was our first official "weird Wednesday" schedule. Since today was the first Wednesday of the new month, we started our day with Art-Music-Keyboarding and had chapel after the middle school lunch recess. The rest of the September Wednesday's will begin with chapel and have Art-Music-Keyboarding after recess. :) Also, we had our first elective classes today. Please check with your student about any work due in elective classes, as my blog only lists the Debate Elective. Because the middle school blogs are linked, it should be fairly easy to look at assignments from the other electives.
In case you haven't heard, we do have one minor change to the Standard of Dress. French blue was dropped as an official color. Shirt colors are navy blue, light blue, light pink, forest green, red, and white. We are sending home notes to be signed for students who are not wearing Standard of Dress shirts. Also, pants need to be a woven fabric (similar to "Dockers") and not stretch or yoga-style pants. Colors for pants remain khaki/tan, navy blue, or black. Shirts layered under polos are fine, but they need to be plain (no patterns) and standard of dress colors. Whew! I know that's lots of information. If you have questions on Standard of Dress or Free Dress Days, please check the Handbook or feel free to email me.
Have a delightful evening!
