It was fun to be back in the classroom after our long weekend. The students
seemed well-rested and brimming with enthusiasm. :)
We are officially kicking off our 2014 Operation Christmas Child project and
students may begin bringing in items tomorrow. The West Wing is concentrating
on school supplies and hard candies (packaged in ziplock bags). In addition, we
are bringing in hygiene items and special gifts, such as a small stuffed animal.
Your child received a list of appropriate gift items and I would encourage you to
refer to that list when you are shopping. Thanks in advance for joining us in this
worthy project.
