It's hard to believe that this week is our last school week of the calendar year!  We have a packed schedule in 6th grade, too.  Today we had our first run through of the entire musical; it's going to be great.  The students will be presenting the Christmas message on Thursday at 2:00 PM and again at 7:00 PM.  Students are expected to participate in both performances.  If your child is sick, or if he/she must miss one of the performances, I will need to have a signed note from you.  Otherwise, the absence will count as a missing grade.  Please check out the News Slice for parking information.

Tomorrow we will have our Pizza lunch (each 6th grader should bring $1.00 to help cover costs).  Also, we will begin construction on our graham cracker houses, so students will need to have their decorating supplies available (candies, extra frosting, etc.).  I am supplying each student with a package of graham crackers, royal icing (for construction glue), and a platter.

This week, chapel will be on Friday rather than Wednesday.  After chapel we will have our class Christmas party.  Secret Santa gifts need to be at school Friday morning.  Also, students will be bringing snacks to share at the party.  Then, school will be dismissed at 11:15 AM for Christmas break.

Merry Christmas!  And, if you don't have a church home, be sure to check out the Bethlehem's schedule of Advent and Christmas services.  We'd love to have you join us in worship.  :)
