Two down and two to go.  We took our second SBAC test this morning--English language arts.  No more testing until next week--hooray!  Most of the testing went smoothly, although an internet crash caused momentary stress for the final few test takers.  We will do our math and English performance tasks on 4/21 and 5/1, respectively.

The 6th graders are enjoying one of the perks of testing, namely a reduced homework load.  Of course, they do have a long-term science project which will be due on 4/23.  Testing, analyzing, redesigning, retesting, etc., should be wrapping up over the next few days.  The written report is due on Wednesday, 4/23, with the PowerPoint slides due on 4/27 and the display due on 4/28.

During Christian Studies we watched "The Case for Christ," a DVD presentation of Lee Strobel's journey from atheism to Christianity.  You might want to ask your 6th grader about some of the evidence presented in the documentary.
