Hats off to the 6th graders for an excellent job with chapel! Isn't it encouraging to see people like Jonah in the Bible and know that God loves and forgives and uses them to share the Gospel? After chapel, we came back and celebrated with maple bars and a VeggieTale about Jonah. Thank you to the many parents who came to worship with us. :)
On Saturday, there will be a Heritage Days event at Sacajawea Park. Admission is free, but a vehicle discovery pass is required. If your schedule allows, you might enjoy checking out the exhibits with your 6th grader. The activities will begin at 10:00 AM and go through most of the afternoon.
Tomorrow is PE, so students need their new BLS T-shirts, navy or black shorts, and athletic shoes here at school in the morning. If you haven't already paid for your student's shirts, the cost is $14.50 for two and checks may be made payable to BLS. Also, on Friday (9/28) we will be traveling by bus down to the KeHS track to do our fall timed miles.
