October flew by with amazing speed. Today, we continued our reformation unit. We looked at the "seal" Martin Luther created to help explain his Christian faith. As a response, the 6th graders are designing their own seals to reflect their faith in Christ and his redeeming work.
Much of our day was focused on Part 4 of our novel and on final revisions to our VFW essays. The final copies are due tomorrow. Please remember that, in an emergency (printer dies, etc.), you are always welcome to email your student's essay/assignment to me and I'll print it out here at school.
For PE, we took advantage of the nice morning weather and went outside for a version of modified softball. I'm so glad we had an opportunity to go out because lunch recess was inside due to rain! We'll see what the weather brings tomorrow.
I have to be out of town tomorrow, so I am delighted to have Mrs. Courtney subbing for me. See you Monday. :)
