Happy Election Day

The students have spoken!  Today, we voted for our president, governor and the recipient of our chapel offerings.  The results were Romney, McKenna, and Fountain of Hope School.  It will be interesting to see the national election results tonight.

Now that we have had our election, it's time to move on to filling shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.  There is still lots of space available in the West Wing tubs, and we will be accepting donations of clothing, gifts, candies (not chocolate), school supplies, etc., all day tomorrow.  On Thursday, all of the classes will help with the packing.  Then, our 7th and 8th graders will deliver the gifts to the OCC collection station at Bethel Church on November 14.

But wait--the week isn't over yet!  On Friday, 11/9, we will have a whole-school Veterans' Day Assembly at 2:00 pm.  Please feel free to join us as we say "Thanks" to all the Americans who have served (or who are currently serving) in our Armed Forces.

Have a fun-filled evening--Mrs. Spahr
