The Days Are Flying By
The 6th graders were ecstatic today! They played dodgeball during PE and were beaming ear-to-ear when they returned to class. Mr. Haynes, I think you are their hero. :) In literature, we continued reading in our novel. (The questions for chapters 1 & 2 are due tomorrow.) Also, we spent some quality time discussing our science project requirements. Hopefully, the students are beginning to feel more comfortable planning their investigations. In addition, I met with a few individuals this afternoon to check on some missing assignments which need to be completed by tomorrow morning.
Literature: Ch 1 & 2 questions due 1/11; read ch 3 in class for discussion tomorrow
6th Science: Went over project requirements and answered students' questions
Christian Studies: Discussed reading assignment (Luke 2:1-20) and began L 48; we'll finish up in class tomorrow
English/Writing: No assignment
Social Studies: Read pp 172-174 for tomorrow
