Welcome Wednesday!

Wednesdays are always special because we get to have chapel.  Today, Pastor Mark talked with us about where we are placing our faith.  It was good to be reminded that our faith needs to be in God and His saving grace.  :)

Literature: Ch 2 vocabulary due 1/10; Ch 1 & 2 questions due 1/11
6th Science: Pink Proposal/Feasibility worksheet is due Friday, 1/11
Christian Studies: Hebrews 11:1
English/Writing: Linking verbs, p 130-131, #8-19 due 1/10
Social Studies: Worksheet
Math: Extra Practice 10, #1-21
7th Science: Almost finished our notes on waves!  We will have a chapter project rather than a test due to the huge amount of material in this chapter.  Also, we will some have in-class work time.  A notebook quiz is planned for Monday, 1/14
8th Science: Rube Goldberg drawings due 1/10.

Ongoing Projects: 6th Science project due 2/26; 7th science or engineering project due 2/26; 8th Rube Goldberg machine due 2/5.

Some students are having difficulty logging onto our new server, so I am encouraging the kiddos to search the literature for internet sources for the Information & Background section of their project reports.  Also, the students will need to have at least one published source, such as a journal, article or book.  However, they may access published materials on their computers, tablets or e-readers.  More to follow.  :)
