We shrank today--eight students were absent! However, we still accomplished some significant work. Of course, we also prayed for all our missing classmates and look forward to having them rejoin us as soon as they are well. In the meantime, lots of hand sanitizing is recommended. :)
Trimester 2 midterm progress reports were handed out today. I thought it might be a good idea to mention it in the blog just in case some of the midterms never make it home.
Also, next week is National Lutheran Schools Week, complete with spirit days, open house (1/31), and the Scholastic book fair. Monday is "I Can't Believe I Have This in My Closet Day." Check the Newslice for the other special days. In addition, the BLS students will be singing at the 8:00 AM service at Bethlehem Lutheran Church this Sunday morning--see you there! I know you will enjoy hearing the students. :)
