We started our day with MAP testing for math.  By the time we were finished, most of the 6th grade brains were semi-fried.  As a result, we don't have any new assignments for math or literature.  The students really seemed to enjoy moving around in a Spanish activity today, especially after sitting for an extended time this morning.  Following lunch, we focused on the First Commandment and accompanying verses from Exodus.  Then, we had our first fire drill; it was a surprise, but the students did an amazing job.  Way to go!  We ended our day with a PowerPoint and informal discussion about some important, historical astronomers.  Enjoy your evening.  :)
