I was so pleased with the majority of behavior choices being made in class today. Job well done 6th graders!
Please mark May 30th on your calendars. BLS has its final band concert of the year and you are going to be amazed at the sound of our young musicians. In addition, there will be a class meeting at 6:00 PM (prior to the concert) to talk about the students' 8th grade Washington DC trip. The 6th and 7th grades will meet together for a short time, and then the 6th grade will have a separate time to discuss fundraising, itinerary, costs, payment dates, etc. Even though the trip is nearly two years away, up-front planning is critical to a successful learning experience. I hope you can make the meeting and stay for the concert. :)
We weren't able to do our memory quiz in Christian Studies today as our positive comments unit took up most of the period. As a result, 6th grade will have its memory verse quiz on Monday. I've left the memory verses on the Blog for reference.
