Our room was alive with energy and excitement today. :) I think a number of students are looking forward to football games this weekend! We are mastering our iPads--tracking assignments, doing research, taking notes, reading our classroom novel, finding definitions and synonyms, etc. And, the students have been great teachers for each other and for me! In addition, I think we have won the battle with our locks.
Many of our 6th graders began saying their August/September memory work today--hooray! While the final due date is not until 9/26, it's so much easier to say a portion of the work each week. You might want to check occasionally with your student to encourage him/her to learn a chunk of their memory work each week. By the way, the memory grades for today are already on Gradelink.
For those of you who are new to Bethlehem or who might have lost your login information, I'll be sending user names and passwords home with your students on Monday.
